The other week I got to hang out with Kim and Kevin for an eshoot. This is something that I love to do with my future bride and groom’s. We went out to Sawtell and decided to do a sunrise shoot as the lighting is so different to that in the afternoon. We had a great time and now I look forward to this weekend which brings along their wedding day =)
Kim and Kevin, looking forward to the weekend =) Cant wait to be there with you guys as you become husband and wife =) Yeeewwww!!!!!!
A good friend of mine and his beautiful wife had their wedding on Saturday despite the horrible weather earlier in the week. Praise God that on Saturday the rain held off and we were blessed with some amazing afternoon light. The wedding ceremony was meant to be held at Friday Creek Retreat however the plans had to change and the ceremony ended up at LifeHouse Church. The reception was held out at the beautiful Beachstone Cafe.
It was an amazing wedding, Jill and Jamin look forward to doing life with you guys =) Enjoy your honeymoon and can’t wait to catch up when you get back =)
Saturday was the first of the 2012 weddings and what a way to kick it off with a wedding at the North Coasts Villa Vivante. Jody and Paul travelled all the way from Melbourne to marry at this beautiful location. Together with friends and family the wedding day was amazing. There was just the right amount of breeze to keep the boys cool and when it came time for Jodies arrival the guest were left a little in the breeze too. Arriving by helicopter from the guys at Precision Helicopters.
It was a really fun day and I had a great time hanging out with the bridal party. Jodie and Paul I will see you tomorrow when I deliver your finished wedding photos =)
We are in the process of now working on the DVD for Sunny & Bens wedding. This video is for the guys back over in the States who could not make the wedding. It is totally unedited and just the wedding ceremony =)
Well this was definitely the last wedding for the year and what a way to celebrate the bringing in of the new year. 2 beautiful people that found each other, lived on opposite sides of the world from each other and now have committed themselves to each other under the covenant of marriage. In a few days Ben will move with his new wife from the country of Oz to his new home town in Texas USA.
It was such a great day with the prospect of a few showers here or there we were not phased and let the day roll on. Sunny and Ben were married at 4pm in the Gleniffer Church just out from Bellingen on the NSW North Coast. They shared their day with friends and family and partied on back at “The Old Butter Factory” in Bellingen.
There were a few little treasures on the day that were shared or given. Sunny got Ben some cuff links that had the Latitude and Longitude of the Church where they were married. Sunny wore her best friends bracelet that her friend wore on her wedding day, not to mention travelling from the States to attend Sunny & Bens wedding. It was a day full of plenty of surprises. Sunnys 2 amazingly talents children played a song each for the newly weds as well as Ben giving his own rendition of Eric Claptons “Wonderful tonight” especially for Sunny =)
Anyway hope you guys have a wonderful life together =) Enjoy your pics and to those who feel like they want to leave a comment please do so =)

Thank you for taking the most beautiful pictures of my gorgeous little sister and her man. It was very difficult not being with her for her wedding and seeing these pictures mean everything to me.
Scott….Never have I ever seen such beautiful wedding pictures where true deep love is shown through the lense like you have captured with my awesome sister Sunny and my wonderful brother in law Ben. You truly define the meaning of true love between these two. Thank you for your beautiful gifted talent….I cried with each and every picture you took!! Sunny and Ben are blessed to have found you to keep their wedding memories alive forever!!!
Last week was the wedding of Amy and Andrew, they were married at the Anglican Church of Coffs Harbour an had their reception at the Bonville Golf Resort. It looked like it could have been the day for the worst weather but I felt good about the chance of change for the afternoon. What an afternoon it was =) From the moment we walked out of the church it was beautiful blue sky and sun. We had a lot of fun with the bridal party throughout the shoot and Amy and Andrew were just amazing together =)
Enjoy these pics and I will look forward to catching up soon =) Feel free to leave a comment =)
We can hardly believe how amazing these shots are! Thanks Scott for your incredible work to catch such amazing moments with so much meaning and creativity!!! We are in awe. What a beautiful day it was!!! Look forward to seeing all the photos in the days ahead. Can’t wait!!!!!
Such an eye you have, Sir, to capture the exquisite! The poignancy of the day was definitely captured in your viewfinder. Thanks for these exceptional pictures. I am enjoying them from afar–in the Washington, DC, area. But your photography has that “you-are-there!” quality. I especially appreciate your focus on Amy’s wedding gown. What a work of art that is–fit for a princess that she is to so many. Lovely having a glimpse of the beauty of the day. BRAVO.
Scott, Scott, Scott… You captured the spirit of the day, the real reason we were all together for Andrew and Amy and the reason they were getting married: for the love. There is no denying the show of affection and care for everyone in these photos and you’ve seized the joy shared by Andrew and Amy. Absolutely magnificent. Thank you.
What a BEAUTIFUL Wedding, so enjoyed looking through these GLORIOUS photos, Well Done Scott!!!!! Although we were not there in person, we were with you all in Spirit and pray for a long and happy love filled life for the happy couple. Do hope they will call in when next at the Brush!!!!! Lots of love from the Thorpes, Jaspers Brush, NSW, Australia.
It was nice to have such a beautiful day to photograph the wedding of Courtney and Josh. These guys were such fun to hang out with. The day went off without a hitch, both bride and groom were calm and relaxed… well it seemed that way from my point of view =) The ceremony was beautiful and instead of heading off for any other locations Courtney and Josh wanted to stay around the Villa so they could spend a bit more time with their beloved friends and family =)
Courtney and Josh I know you will be itching to see this post so I hope your love it and I love forward to chatting to you both soon =) Feel free to leave a thought =)
