Wedding of Courtney & Shane – 24th July 2010

July 26th, 2010

Saturday gave us a great start to the day with beautiful sky’s on the Coffs Coast. Aanuka Beach Resort was the venue chosen by Courtney and Shane to share their wedding vows. Steve from the Salvation Army was the officiator of this special occasion. As the bride arrived the gathering of people looked on and yes she truly did look like a princess. The sun stayed out for most of the ceremony and as it began to close behind the clouds the air became somewhat chilly . We decided to leave Aanuka for the photos as it was quite cold and we also had 4 beautiful Audi’s waiting for us. We headed into town before finishing up the shoot on Charlesworth Bay Beach.

Courtney and Shane congrats on your wedding and cant wait to catch up in a few weeks when you return from your honeymoon =)

Please feel free to leave a comment below =)

Wedding of Lauren & Jordan – 24th April 2010

May 10th, 2010

I have been sooo busy here at SCP as we are gearing up for this years wedding expo to be held at Bonville Golf Resort. I have fallen a little behind in the blog posting. This wedding was shot a couple of weeks back and was such a wonderful wedding to photograph. The weather was amazing as was our fantastic bridal party.

Lauren and Jordan were married at the St Augustine church in Coffs Harbour. It is such a beautiful church with some great features throughout. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch as we then headed off for some photos. For the first time in a while we went to the Jetty Foreshores for most of the shots before finishing up on Lauren’s parents property. Such a fitting place to hold a reception with such a grand marque it was perfect.

Anyway enough of the talk here are some of their photos =) Please feel free to make a comment. I love em!

Wedding of Katie & Aaron – 1st May 2010

May 3rd, 2010

It was a beautiful weekend to be shooting a wedding slight overcast moments made for perfect lighting and a gorgeous sunset just capped it off. The wedding was held a Darlington Park near Corindi Beach or Arrawarra on the North Coast. It was a great setting for a ceremony as it brought about a lot of sentimental emotions for both Kate and Aaron. Officiating on the day was the wonderful Catherine Campbell.

We started off the day by photographing the guys before moving on to the girls, we had to be a bit inconspicuous as the 2 rooms where they were getting organinsed were rather close together =) However we got there and got to the ceremony on time. The girls arrived in style on the back of Aaron’s 4×4 ute very rad =)

After the ceremony we stayed pretty close by to get some shots and I think these came out pretty sweet. It is one of my most favourite spots on the coast to photograph =) =)

To Katie and Aaron, enjoy your honeymoon and to the Betlands I look forward to seeing you all again soon in September for the next wedding =)

Please feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think of the pics =)

    Hey Scott,
I didn’t know you were the photographer for Katie and Aaron I would have loved to caught up. Hey Hey, I would love to see a picture of the girls in the ute, when I finished decorating the room I came out and got a shock seeing all these ladies standing in the back of the ute, what a way to arrive!! LOVE YOUR WORK. Sharon.

  2. Sharon Tietjen Says:

    Hi Scott,
Andrea MOB sent me this link, I never actually meet the bride and groom just arranged things with Andrea over the phone. I tend to do the behind the scenes set up but love to see the bridal party, I find it interesting to see what each bride selects to wear they are always so unique, I’d love to be a bride all over again. LOVE YOUR WORK, love the shot with the group standing on the pebbles, very detailed. Sharon.
