Wedding of Desley & Nick – 13th February 2010

February 16th, 2010

On Saturday I had a busy day shooting the wedding of Desley & Nick. The ceremony was held at Villa Vivante a little place nestled into the hill side of Coffs Harbour on the North Coast of NSW. The ceremony was officiated by Cath Hogan a local Coffs Harbour celebrant. It was a beautiful day from start to finish filled with emotion. We had only one little hiccup that could have been a major drama but Desley was amazing! She had broken the zipper of her gorgeous gown before we had left for the ceremony. So she arrived fashionably late and took her awaiting husbands’ breath away as she walk down the aisle.

Desley and Nick it was an absolute pleasure to be at your wedding and I can’t wait to get all your photos back to you =)

Wedding of Katie & Paul – 30th January 2010

February 1st, 2010

Our location for this beautiful wedding was on the headland reserve overlooking Charlesworth Bay Beach. Our celebrant for this special occasion was Ken Palmer =)

What a day, it looked like at any moment we could have had rain but what a blessing that it decided to hold off for the entire wedding. It wasn’t until I was on my way home that it started to rain.

Katie and Paul both work at the Jetty Foreshores Cafe in Coffs Harbour and it was always going to be a funky and fun wedding day. I felt very honoured when I was asked if I could shoot their wedding. Guys I just want to say I had such a blast and thought Katie you looked absolutely stunning. I love your dress and look forward to our Trash The Dress shoot when your back from your honeymoon =) Yes it is almost a shame to think of such a thing, but it will be worth the final result =) =)

Paul’s mum painted this picture so we decided to use it for a very unconventional ring shot.

Paul had a very sentimental watch with him on the big day, I think it was his grandfathers… Please correct me Paul if I am wrong =)

Wedding of Peta & Evan – 16th January 2010

January 18th, 2010

Wow what a start to the year! We had the privilege of traveling down to Terrigal on the Central Coast of NSW to shoot the wedding of Peta & Evan. This was a great wedding and I felt especially honoured as Peta & Evan had already picked out a photographer for their day, but it just so happened that they attended a wedding I shot back in October last year, Carly & Michael. To which they fell in love with my work and yes my RAD nature… hehehe! I know you guys will get it =) So there was absolutely no pressure with the photos…

The day started off great with a quick few shots of the boys getting ready before heading down the road to photograph the girls. I must say Peta you looked amazing =) The ceremony was held on Peta’s parents property in Holgate which is not too far from what I called the town of Terrigal =) Such a beautiful location with so much meaning…. very special indeed! After the ceremony we got some photos on the property before heading off to our locations, there was just one problem… It was a very lovely black Mercedes, it decided it would lose a side trim and drop the exhaust on the road on the way to the first location. Not a great start to the location session but hey we improvised well and just before you think it couldn’t get any worse, we arrived at our first location to find a beautiful field of daisy’s we had planned to use was mowed by the lovely little old lady who thought she was doing us a favour… bless her cotton socks =) We love you Ann =)

Anyway we managed to get some great shots as we waited for the replacement car, near the mowed daisy’s, before heading off to “The Haven” and then on to the reception at the Trojon Leagues Club.

Peta & Evan I am glad I got to shoot your wedding I had such a blast, I guess I will see you at the next wedding =) =)

I am glad to see these nice photos of Peta’s and Evan’s wedding! I am an “old” friend of Peta’s parents and the last time I met Peta was when she was about 4 or 5 years old! What a change!

Engagement Shoot of Lisa & Jason

January 18th, 2010

Last week before I headed off to Terrigal to shoot a wedding I managed to have  some time to do an engagement shoot with a very cool couple. We headed off to Gallows Beach in Coffs Harbour. The weather was pretty good although we had a bit of wind and the water wasn’t too warm as we found out later. With Jason and Lisa we managed to shoot a few different kinds of locations. Lets just say it was all so nice and dry =)

I am looking forward to shooting your wedding guys and I hope you enjoy these images. Sorry that the water couldn’t have been a bit warmer….

Wedding of Naomi & Gus – 7th November 2009

December 8th, 2009

A little while back we shot a great wedding at Aanuka Beach Resort. It was held in the chapel on site at the resort and it was destined to be a great day. Plenty of prayer from their local church and families saw the day come and go as a perfect memory, a memory that we were privileged to capture. I say this as it did try to rain but that only made for better photos =) So from all points it was a perfect wedding. We had heaps of time following the ceremony to get in loads of locations. Our main destination was Bellingen. Yes thats a bit of a hike but worth it in the end. And we still got them back in time for their reception.

Naomi and Gus it was great to be a part of your special day hope you love the pics =)

To all those who stumble across this posting if you wish to leave a comment then please do so at the bottom of their pics =)
