Wedding of Leah & Paul - 27th Sept 2008

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Ok so you have already seen the sunrise photos well now it is time to show off some of the shots from the wedding.

Wow Leah looked stunning. I never would have thought all those years ago Leah that when we used to play in the cubby house with our sisters in your backyard that I would be the man responsible for capturing your day behind the camera =)

The wedding ceremony was held in the rain-forest at the Bonville Golf Resort just south of Coffs Harbour. Not a cloud in sight gave us ample light to get some great ceremony shots. I got to see a few old friends from back in the good old Toormina High School years before we headed out to our locations. We had a heap of fun and at some stages thought we might be hitching a ride back to Bonville with the wedding car blowing some extra pressure under the bonnet (Thought we had something leaking) However we made it back so they could party on and enjoy the company of their many friends.

Thanks for being great and I hope you guys have a rad honeymoon =)

Just wanted to say this shot was totally unplanned, but the groomsman got a little excited about the plane that was flying around from the Coffs Harbour Air Show….

Wedding of Tania & Steve - 25th Sept 2008

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

We were very blessed with some fine weather, the day before it looked like we could have had to go to plan B for the venue of ceremony. But hey this is Coffs Harbour, rainy one moment and fine the next.

I really enjoyed the spirit of the wedding day, very relaxed and I guess there is something special about getting married on your own property especially when your a professional gardener. Steve is the maker and Tania the designer. Great team guys =) They live in a little place south of Coffs Harbour called Repton. Its a small little community area that flourishes with nature, a perfect spot for a wedding.

Anyway to Steve and Tania all the best and will catch up real soon =)

Sunrise - Leah & Paul’s Wedding day 27th Sept 2008

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Well this morning was an early start 4:45am to be exact =) A short drive from my home in Coffs Harbour to the beautiful beach of Sawtell. Hardly a cloud in sight, almost the opposite to my sunrise shots of last week. I managed to get myself to a few locations this morning and capture Gods glory in the making. What a spectacular sunrise.

Guys I can’t wait to shoot your wedding this afternoon, enjoy your morning =)

Wedding of Amanda & Graham - 20th Sept 2008

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Well some may ask how did I shoot 2 weddings in the one day at the same time…. The answer is that I have a great colleague and friend who shoots for me every once in a while when I am booked and then I add our SCP editing styles and techniques that our clients love. His name is Paul and he runs his own photography  business with his wife Louise  “Saltwater Photography”. What a great job mate love the shots.

It was a great day in Coffs Harbour for this beautiful wedding the sun was out… well almost for the entire day!  A little rain on the first location saw the umbrellas come out but only for a short while. Amanda and Graham I must say you looked amazing and I love your shoes, very funky =)

Wedding of Cherie & Nick - 20th Sept 2008

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Well it’s been a massive week for SCP we have done 3 weddings and I got to see some beautiful brides. One of these was Cherie! I got the pleasure of photographing the girls before the start of the ceremony in a little place outside Bellingen called Lily Pily. Now guys if you want to impress your lady this is definitely THE PLACE to go. I didn’t even know this existed, it is quite remarkable and I loved shooting there. If you want to check it out click on the link.

Cherie was a very calm and relaxed bride we had plenty of time to have some fun with the photos before heading off to “The Promised Land”. This must be the best place in the north coast to hold a wedding. The Gleniffer church was packed to the rafters…. it was little humid though to say the least. We met a rain cloud on the way that had far too much water in it.

Nick the groom was a patient man and before long the ceremony had come and gone, a great Catholic wedding in a cute little church. Well done Father Rex! We took the bridal party out for a few hours for some photos around the promised land before retiring for celebrations at the old hall next to the church…. You see the perfect venue =)

Food looked great and yes it was “Spare Chef Catering” they are awesome. Ok say check out the photos and see for yourself the wedding day of Cherie & Nick.

The Beautiful Bride

The Girls relax with a bottle of champagne before we leave

The second princess of the day and she loved the camera

I have to say the mother of the brides and grooms are looking fab, some of the best outfits I have ever seen… to my Mum I just want to say yours is still the best =) but well done Debbie!

It was time for a song

It was fun shooting here, I had to move most of the congregation from their intimate conversations standing behind the fence… its just not the same with all those lovely people there =) Thanks guys!

We found a creek bed, lucky it was low tide lol!!! but wow what a stunning couple don’t you think.

I always love to see how high a group can jump. The winner was Michelle the bridesmaid by a leaf =)

Now this shot was amazing, I got permission from the owner Simon ??? earlier in the week to photograph here and I think it was worth it =)

Sorry to the Jazz band I did not get their name maybe someone can help me out… They were totally Rad I loved them well done boys =)

Wedding of Shandy & Dean - 18th Sept 2008

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Wow today was a great day to get married, the sun was out and wind fresh =) Shandy and Dean were tying the knot at one of Coffs Harbours most sort after locations Annuka Beach Resort. There is cute little chapel where people love to hold their special day. The day went off without a hitch so to speak. The bride arrived fashionably late just to keep Dean on his toes. As she walked in I am sure that the congregation were stunned with the beauty that behold them. Shandy was picture perfect. Dean you’re a lucky man!!!

After the ceremony we had bit of fun at a few locations nearby to Annuka, I will keep them a secret for today just cause I can =) We got some breath taking shots, I felt very privileged to be shooting their wedding they were just such a nice couple.

So have look and write what you feel… Just a quick shout out to Don and Liz my Gloria Jeans Coffees regulars =) =)
