Wedding of Aimie & Lee - 25th October 2008

Monday, October 27th, 2008

We are so blessed in Coffs Harbour to have some of the most beautiful weather =) At times it can be quite ordinary but none more perfect than the day of Aimie and Lee’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Aanuka Beach Resort on the lawn. It got a little windy and I thought for a moment we were going to all sail off into the ocean! Some of the shots came up real sweet as we had some very RAD locations to shoot at.

Anyway Congrats to Aimie and Lee all the best and I will see you soon =)

Wedding of Tania & Michael - 19th October 2008

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Well I must say that if I was going to marry my wife again then this is the way I would do it. Tania and Michael’s wedding was amazing. It was held at the prestigious Bonville Golf Resort just on the outskirts of Coffs Harbour. They married on the 1st tee which is always my favourite spot at Bonville, beautiful lush green fairways just perfect. Following the ceremony things got a little different to your traditional wedding program. We headed over to the pool for a game of bocce and refreshments before wisking the Bride and Groom away for some intimate photos nearby. We were gone about 30 minutes and returned for the pinyata contest between the little kids and as you will see in the photos the poor old donkey had seen better days. We finished up with dinner on the terrace. Another one of my favourite spots to have your reception.

Well done to Tania and Michael for organising such a beautiful wedding and for letting me share it with you. Michael I hope you get to hit a few more golf balls around Bonville before you leave =)

Wedding of Jess & John - 11th October 2008

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

It was always going to be a great wedding with such a beautiful couple in Jess and John. The day started out with the ceremony at the little Coramba church before retiring out at the parents place distinctly named “Giacomo”. I met both these guys a little while ago at Jess’s brother Joel’s wedding. John a little cheeky and Jess just stunning.

Paul got the lovely honours of shooting this wedding for me as I was in Sydney shooting another wedding. I really love some of the moments that he captured. Like I said John gets a little cheeky but his new wife also decided she was ready for a bit of fun too. Check out the pics and see for yourself =) =)

Wedding of Jeni & Frank - 11th October 2008

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

I was waiting for this wedding to come along, my first Sydney wedding! Yah… The preparation began on Thursday when we arrived in Sydney from little old Coffs Harbour. We caught up with the bride and groom for a coffee and discussed the final details before we checked out some locations.

The ceremony was held at St Davids Uniting Church in Haberfield. Such a beautiful church, it is a little different to most with 2 aisles, one to go in and the other to go out.

There is one thing that is quite different to weddings in Coffs, you seem to do way more travelling. The bride and groom got ready in the heart of the city at “The Menzies”. It was great, the duty manager Mark was a wonderful help, organising for us to be able to shoot in the piano lounge for our preparation shots…. thanks Mark!

After the ceremony we headed into the city to the rocks as this was where the reception was to take place… actually it was held at the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Arts) level 6 on the Terrace. What a venue that was… probably the best place to hold a reception. On your left you have the Harbour Bridge, at your feet you have Circular Quay across the waters the Opera House and to the right the bright lights of the CBD. Anyway so at the rocks we found this grungy old staircase… It had seen better days but for me I had found a great spot to capture so really intimate photos. It was a long day we finished the night at 11pm but what a great time. The bridal party were awesome and Jeni and Frank, a fantastic couple…. I love you guys have a great honeymoon in Mauritius. I am soooo jealous!!!

Wedding of Kristy & Nick - 4th October 2008

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

I had the great pleasure to be the photographer at the wedding of Kristy and Nick. I travelled out to Tamworth the country music capital of Australia… well actually out to Moonbi (it’s 25mins closer to Coffs Harbour) to shoot this wedding and it has to be one of my favourite ceremony locations ever. As both Bride & Groom being committed christians they decided to hold their ceremony in a church but they sort of moved the church along with all the people… to the most amazing location ever… Nicks parents property. Nicks dad got busy and built an amphitheater church on the hill =) Well done Ron you are “Rad”. We having church there next Sunday? We didn’t have to leave the property for photos cause it was overflowing with an abundance of locations. We did have a lovely black cloud join our parade during the photos and decided to drop a bit of moisture… actually I was standing in the rain without an umbrella getting a little soaked while the guys did there thing, it was sweet and a wedding that I will definitely never forget.

Look forward to catching up with you beautiful people later =)

Kristy I hear has a bit of a voice so I found this little figure which I think works well for the shot.

Mum & Dad

What a beautiful aisle… there were 2 massive white curtains pulled across so the boys couldn’t see the girls arrive and when it was unveiled WOW!

Soooooooo much love =)

The Church…

Brothers love is special…

We moved one of the church pews to the middle of the forest for a few shots… I liked this one!

Kristy I loved this idea of yours…. you can come to my next wedding =) wait a minute you will still be on your HONEYMOON!!! have fun with that =)

The rain shot…
