Wedding of Hans & Anke – 16th January 2009

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Well it was a absolutely beautiful morning for a sunrise wedding a few clouds and plenty of blue sky. Hans and Anke are a couple all the way from Germany who decided to have a holiday to Australia. On the way over Hans had arranged for them to get married in Coffs Harbour by a wonderful friend of mine and celebrant Deb McMahon, provided she said yes when he proposed to her in Dubai. Obviously she said yes and that brings us to Hungry Head for a picturesque wedding day.

We decided to go one step further than just to photograph the wedding we also decided to bring on the powers of technology. As they had eloped for their wedding they still wanted the parent to be apart of their special day, so we decided to broadcast a live feed to Germany in 2 towns so both parents and their families could enjoy the occasion. It was fantastic praise God for Apple computers and wireless broadband =)

Anyway congratulations to the newly married couple and I wish you all the best for your future =)

What a beautiful sunrise…

Having a conversation with Mum & Dad

Hans & Anke seemed totally in love… so happy =)

Anke looked great in a very simple white dress… perfect for a sunrise wedding at the beach

They had organised some Australian native flowers for the bouquet… so much colour!

Their daughter could not stop smiling all morning

Sooooo relaxed

Did I mention happy =)

Cheyenne loved being apart of the photos

Last stop before we all headed off to breakfast to celebrate with them at Anchors Wharf.

Vietnam – A short Post

Friday, January 9th, 2009

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the delay in posting but my wonderful web hosting company decided to suspend my account. I am now back up and running thanks to the wonderful work of Peter Curtis, my web designer and legend.

We have had a fantastic time in Vietnam starting in Saigon and then up to the beautiful area of Dalat. We then spent 4 days in Hoi An my absolute favourite spot so far. I had a suite made there as well as some cheap shirts. I felt like I was in Heaven =)

Despite the great trip so far it will be nice to be on the plan home back to Coffs Harbour. I will post some more picks before I go. Cause we are heading to Sapa…. Soooooo Beautiful…. so i have been told =)
