Wedding of Hans & Anke – 16th January 2009
Well it was a absolutely beautiful morning for a sunrise wedding a few clouds and plenty of blue sky. Hans and Anke are a couple all the way from Germany who decided to have a holiday to Australia. On the way over Hans had arranged for them to get married in Coffs Harbour by a wonderful friend of mine and celebrant Deb McMahon, provided she said yes when he proposed to her in Dubai. Obviously she said yes and that brings us to Hungry Head for a picturesque wedding day.
We decided to go one step further than just to photograph the wedding we also decided to bring on the powers of technology. As they had eloped for their wedding they still wanted the parent to be apart of their special day, so we decided to broadcast a live feed to Germany in 2 towns so both parents and their families could enjoy the occasion. It was fantastic praise God for Apple computers and wireless broadband =)
Anyway congratulations to the newly married couple and I wish you all the best for your future =)
What a beautiful sunrise…
Having a conversation with Mum & Dad
Hans & Anke seemed totally in love… so happy =)
Anke looked great in a very simple white dress… perfect for a sunrise wedding at the beach
They had organised some Australian native flowers for the bouquet… so much colour!
Their daughter could not stop smiling all morning
Sooooo relaxed
Did I mention happy =)
Cheyenne loved being apart of the photos
Last stop before we all headed off to breakfast to celebrate with them at Anchors Wharf.

Hi Scott
What a unique experience we all shared last Friday morning with Hans, Anke and Cheyenne at Hungry Head. Congratulations on capturing the essence of the occasion with your spectacular photographs. Les and I had a ball organising this celebration for Hans and Anke over the past few months. The culmination of the live feed back to Germany and your unique photographic skills will make this occasion a memorable experience for Hans, Anke and their families back in Germany.
Perhaps this will inspire other couples in Australia and overseas to visit and use our beautiful midnorth coast area as a backdrop for their special ceremony.
Cheers

Hey Scott,
The photos look great! You guys all seemed to be pumped after such a successful morning…I reckon there could be a market for couples from overseas getting married in “God’s Country”! The wonders of today’s technology is endless!
Cheers,
