Wedding of Catherine & Scott – 21st March 2009

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Wowww!!!! thats about the best way to explain the sunrise on the day of Catherine and Scotts wedding. It was shot at Scotts hometown beach of Sawtell. It was just stunning and for those brides out there that think this may be a great idea for their wedding then we offer it as one of our optional extras in our packages. I think these first few photos show just how amazing they can be.

Its quite funny, its been about 13 years since I last saw Scott, back in the day of good old Toormina High. It was great to be able to shoot his wedding and catch up on life. These guys were amazing to shoot. The love they showed towards each other was so natural and at times fun. Especially to capture!

It was also the first wedding that SCP has shot any photos at the Big Banana as requested by Scott himself… So I just had to post one of those for the record =) Can’t wait to catch up again soon, have a great time on your honeymoon and thanks for being rad!

Wedding of Katy & Ashley – 11th March 2009

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Hey guys this one has taken a while to get there as we have been so busy with our work. This particular wedding was held at Annuka Beach Resort in Coffs Harbour…. The normally SUNNY Coffs Harbour. I feel like of late that our area has had more than the usual rain fall especially for our beautiful brides. No matter what the conditions the show must go on! and on it went =) Firstly I want to send out a big THANK YOU to Cameron who is Ashley’s brother, who became my umbrella man for the shoot. We ended up coasting around the Jetty and other areas where we could get some great shots and Cameron was there the entire time =)

Ashley and Katy it was a pleasure to shoot your wedding and I hope that you enjoy these photos =)

Wedding of Lara & Sean – 7th March 2009

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

Well 2 years ago on this same weekend my lovely wife and I got married and so it was the joy of sharing the day with Lara and Sean. What a great couple. It was actually many many years ago that I first met Sean. Back in the day of little athletics. Sean however was always the better competitor, but who would have thought that all these years later I would have the privelege of shooting his wedding. What a wedding it was, beautiful weather beamed down on the North Coast, the setting Bonville Golf Resort in the majestical rain-forest. Ken Palmer was the marriage celebrant for the day and as always Ken brought great passion and personal touch to the ceremony.

I got to spend some time with the girls before heading to the ceremony and we had a great time, even mum was relaxed =) or so she told me =) After our time at the ceremony we headed out to Sawtell for some pics before we headed back to the reception. I just have to say to the bridal party thank you for being amazing and making a photographers day such a pleasure, you guys were fun energetic and totally rad!

Lara & Sean Have a great time on your honeymoon I can’t wait to catch up again soon =) So friends please feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think =)

Wedding of Rebecca & Andrew – 27th February 2009

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I had the absolute privilege of shooting this wedding of Rebecca and Andrew on Friday. Held at the beautiful location of Annuka Beach Resort in Coffs Harbour. The day was always going to be amazing as the Coffs Coast turned on some spectacular weather. These guys both live in Newcastle but it was many years ago… well 13 actually that I had last set eyes on Rebecca. She is from the good old High School of Toormina and it was in 1996 that I finished before 2 years later Rebecca finished as well.

Rebecca and Andrew were a great couple to shoot as we spent some time at Annuka for some shots before heading off to a different beach to finish up. We had some fun shooting the reception held in the Breakers room at the resort.

Anyway I pray you guys have a Rad time at Dunk Island on your honeymoon and I will catch up with you in the near future.

So please feel free to leave a message and let us know what you think =)
