Wedding of Amy & Brendan – 24th October 2009
Well this was the first wedding of the weekend and it was a great way to start. A beautiful location down by the lagoon at Opal Cover Resort Coffs Harbour. The weather was fantastic, it was pretty hot but when your on a location such as this you don’t seem to mind so much.
Amy’s dad would have to of been one of the most emotional father-of-the-brides I have ever photographed. He was amazing, from the moment he set his eyes on his little girl he was a goner.
We photographed the boys and the girls before hand and seems as though their rooms were only 25 meters away from each other we couldn’t risk going out side the doors. So all our before shot were done in their rooms.
After the ceremony we settled on location at Opal Cove and got some shots on the beach before we decided to head in to the Jetty where there were another 2 wedding parties lining up for photos. So we decided to do some shots on the beach first to give the others some time before we headed on up to get some shots for ourselves.
So a big congrats to the newly married couple and I can’t wait to catch up soon =)

The girls looked amazing….

Brendan got what he wanted with a southern cross in his wedding ring…

I love this little set up we had in the room =)

I love the emotion in this shot

Despite the clouds being around we got some really great lighting on some shots like this location…

We got a bit tricky here with a fish eye lens as the jetty was full of people. I think we did alright =)
