Wedding of Naomi & Gus – 7th November 2009

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

A little while back we shot a great wedding at Aanuka Beach Resort. It was held in the chapel on site at the resort and it was destined to be a great day. Plenty of prayer from their local church and families saw the day come and go as a perfect memory, a memory that we were privileged to capture. I say this as it did try to rain but that only made for better photos =) So from all points it was a perfect wedding. We had heaps of time following the ceremony to get in loads of locations. Our main destination was Bellingen. Yes thats a bit of a hike but worth it in the end. And we still got them back in time for their reception.

Naomi and Gus it was great to be a part of your special day hope you love the pics =)

A little while ago a great friend of mine photographed a wedding for our studio while I was shooting a wedding in Coffs Harbour. The location was the beautiful Valla Beach. I must say Paul and Lou you guys did a great job =) I had heaps of fun editing the shots as I felt like I got to experience the entire day even though I wasn’t there.

Corinne and Marty all the best and I am glad your shots finally made the blog…. =)

Wedding of Tess & Clint – 28th November 2009

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I had the pleasure of shooting  a beautiful couple, Tess & Clint out at the famous Bonville Golf Resort in Bonville on the Coffs Coast. Although the location had to be changed at the last minute from out in the rain forrest to inside due to a big thunder storm, the rest of the wedding went off without a hitch. When I arrived at the brides preparation house there were a lot of details to shoot as this had been the family home for the past 20 years. So I decided to head out to the packing shed and find a few little locations to shoot around.

Tess seemed very calm for a bride who was only an hour or so away from saying “I Do”. Before Tess arrived the team at Bonville had worked hard to transform the inside location ready for the ceremony. This put us a little behind the scheduled 4pm kick off. But it was worth it. The room looked great and the ceremony was full of emotion.

After the ceremony the rain had passed and the sun shone brightly. We took advantage of the great break in the weather and headed back out to the family farm for the photo shoot. We had only 40 minutes to shoot a normal 1.5 hours session. But hey praise God for great lighting and a perfect location, not to mention a very accommodating bridal party.

Congrats Tess & Clint . Hope you like the pics!!!

If you wish you can leave a comment at the end, we love to get your feedback… Enjoy =)
