Ezekiel James Carle – My Son

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Born 7th April 2010 weighing 8 pounds and super healthy, our little boy Zeke changed my life. He is soooo cute and I just love to hold him it is just so surreal to be holding your child a creation of 2 people so uniquely formed. It does make a man flow tears from his eyes with such joy. So as all photographers do we took volumes of photos on day one and here are some of those pics =)

An Emergency C Sect had to be performed to bring little Zeke into the world…

I could not enter the room so I set up the camera with a fisheye and on fully automatic shooting mode and gave it to a midwife to grab some shots… Lets just say I must have given it to the right person as these shots in the room are amazing…. Thank you to the team at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus

Hey groovers hope you all had a great Easter celebration! We got to catch up with family and get an update on the family portraits… Trouble was I was the photographer =) =) So with a bit of help from my trusty tripod and remote trigger we managed to pull off some great shots… Do you know how many shots you need to take to get kids to look at a camera with no-one standing behind =) LOTS =) it was a lot of fun minus the wind factor.

Anyhow enjoy the pics and stay tuned cause my wife is now 7 days over-due and i will be dropping some more shots of bub when He or She arrives…

My Beautiful Pregnant Wife – 18 Weeks 5 Days

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Today was a very rare time for this part of the year where I had a weekend off. So I decided to head out to Bellingen with my gorgeous wife and have some lunch at Vintage Espresso Cafe, we then trekked out away from the town center for a few photos and a spot of fishing. I must say that she is the most beautiful pregnant wife you could ever pray for =) =)

Family Portraits with Matt & Bec

Friday, October 9th, 2009

If you are ever wondering whether we do family portraits the answer is yes! We love them, even when we need to do them in gail force winds. Thats right today I had the pleasure of shooting one of my best mates family. They are expecting number 2 and it could come any time soon, so we needed to shoot it today. Our end results were amazing…. well I thought they were anyway.

If you like them too then be sure to let me know by posting a comment below. Thanks Matt and Bec, see you in church on Sunday!!!

Vietnam – A short Post

Friday, January 9th, 2009

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the delay in posting but my wonderful web hosting company decided to suspend my account. I am now back up and running thanks to the wonderful work of Peter Curtis, my web designer and legend.

We have had a fantastic time in Vietnam starting in Saigon and then up to the beautiful area of Dalat. We then spent 4 days in Hoi An my absolute favourite spot so far. I had a suite made there as well as some cheap shirts. I felt like I was in Heaven =)

Despite the great trip so far it will be nice to be on the plan home back to Coffs Harbour. I will post some more picks before I go. Cause we are heading to Sapa…. Soooooo Beautiful…. so i have been told =)

A little time in Innisfail North Queensland

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Well today is the day that we fly out to Vietnam, leaving behind a great time spent in Innisfail just 1 hour south of Cairns. My wife and I spent some time shopping and exploring a few little towns in the area. My sister is the one who lives here with her husband and family. Yes… they grow bananas, lots of them. So here are a few shots from our time with them.

The first few shot are taken in a little town of Millaa Millaa in the main street =)

The old cheese factory, its now up for auction. This little town used to be heavily into dairy and producing massive amounts of dairy products.

This was the weirdest fly I had seen, but it had some unique colours.

These guys were the founders of Palmerston a little town just out from Millaa Millaa. Someone had decided to put a santa hat on one of the satutues.

The General Store.

I loved this sign =)

These tiles made a massive image, but I liked the texture it creates as a close-up.

The Take-Away shop.

Millaa Millaa Falls… So many people come here to check it out or just to have a swim… bit cold.

This little turtle was spotted by my wife right across the other side of the waterfall so I got out my 70-200 with my 2x converter and waded out into the water to get the shot. My wife has very good eyes =)

Lonely little tree

This was a tea farm…

And yes we purchased some tea for $3.50 sooo cheap.

Me on the farm, checking out my brother-in-laws bananas

My cute little nephews Zaviah on the left and Jasper on the right.
