Wedding of Phoebe & Josh – 5th November 2011

Monday, November 7th, 2011

What a sensational wedding!!! Great location, beautiful weather, lots of family and friends and a beautiful couple. It was a really special day as Phoebe and Josh dedicated their lives together as husband and wife. It was a very emotional day and after I photographed Phoebe and the girls I knew Josh had no chance at keeping a dry eye as she walked down towards him. There was lots of preparation and you could tell as there was so much detail present from Chandelier to bird cages in trees and fairy lights lighting the drive of the picturesque Friday Creek Retreat. The funniest thing was it was exactly 1 year ago that was shooting another wedding at Friday Creek Retreat, however back then the wedding was almost washed out as there was so much rain. So to be able to get the full beauty of the area captured with perfect light was such a blessing.

Phoebe and Josh it was so awesome to be a part of your day =) Hope you enjoy your honeymoon and some of these pics =)

Feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think =)

I love this photo as these amazing parents are one of the reasons why I am in business today =) They helped to get me started with my business. Phill and Deb I love you guys =) U Rock… Thanks again!

Wedding of Sally & Sam – 22nd October 2011

Monday, October 24th, 2011

This weekend was a little bit different as I got to travel out to Moree for the wedding of Sally and Sam. These guys are such a great couple and have have lived in Moree for the best part of their lives. They were raised in the 2 homesteads that they got ready in making for so many memories, it was just amazing to take it all in.

The Ceremony was to take part on Sam’s parents property just our of Moree in a little town of Ashley. The property had a great big driveway they seemed to go forever, a long dusty road with the cotton fields getting ready for planting. It was amazing! Once you get to the property you are captured by the colours of the beautiful gardens. A perfect place for a wedding. After the ceremony there was a time for mingling before we headed off for some photos and return to the reception held at the “Town & Country”.

Sally and Sam I hope you enjoy married life and thank you for letting me be apart of your wonderful day. Enjoy the photos and feel free to leave us a comment =)

Wedding of Laura & Peter (PC) – 15th October 2011

Monday, October 17th, 2011

I had a wonderful time on Saturday photographing the wedding of Laura and Peter. The day was one of those days you get in Coffs Harbour where it rains on and off and you pray that its raining more off then on for the poor bride. We were blessed, the weather stayed dry enough for the ceremony to be held out on the lawn at Pacific Bay Resort. It was perfect the temperature was just right and the light was amazing. After the ceremony the rain decided to join us for a while before it left for the rest of the photoshoot. Any photographer would have loved the conditions and the bridal party well they did not disappoint. They were a very happy bunch and I felt right at home as we spent the afternoon together.

Laura and PC thanks for letting me be apart of your special day and have a wonderful honeymoon =)

Wedding of Anita & Phil – 1st October 2011

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Well I think that it was pretty much 4 seasons in 1 day for saturdays wedding of Anita and Phil. Thankfully we were blessed with some great locations to photograph around. Phil got ready in Sawtell while Anita’s preparation was at the Bonville Golf Resort. It was a little frantic just before the kick off of the ceremony as the Sun decided to come out and thus gave Anita and Phil the option of chancing it and getting married in the rain forest or being safe and going with the indoor option. Anita looked to me and asked what I thought??? Big question I looked outside and it looked pretty good =) So we decided to go with the rain forest and it did not disappoint. It was just beautiful in there all fresh from the rain and beautiful light. Afterwards we decided not to venture too far from the resort as there was a massive storm coming, so we got some shots around the grounds before heading back  for a few final shots. I must say it was a great wedding and Anita and Phil thank you for being amazing and trusting in me as your photographer =) Yeeeewwwww!!!!!!

All the best and look forward to catching up with you in the near future.

Wedding of Anne & Dallas – 17th August 2011

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

It’s been a little while since a Wednesday wedding has happened at SCP. So it was pretty special to photograph Anne and Dallas as the last wedding before I fly out to Europe on Saturday. Amidst the busy week of packing and preparing for the trip I decided to blog this entry before I take flight.

It was a really special day not only for the bride and groom but also for their two beautiful kids who also had a special part to play on the day with a naming ceremony included in the middle of the wedding ceremony.

After the ceremonies it was off to the open fields of Bowraville to get a few snaps before we all snapped with the cold weather that was quickly coming upon us.

Anne and Dallas it was a great day out and thank you for letting me share in your special day. I look forward to catching up when I return =)

I love this shot =)

It was super cold and Anne was not going to wear any shoes, It wasn’t until after the ceremony that I found out that these were the shoes she decided to wear just to keep her little feet from freezing =)

Wedding of Amy & Joseph – July 13th 2011

Monday, August 15th, 2011

Such a busy time for SCP just before we fly out to the UK this coming Saturday. I was however very blessed to be a part of Amy and JJ’s wedding day. These guys are quite a bit of fun and quirky and on their big day it was now different. They were both super relaxed and enjoyed every minute of their special day. The wedding was held on the lawn of the beautiful Opal Cove Resort in Coffs Harbour and the reception/party was in the Opals room. We didn’t need to go anywhere else for the photos as there were plenty of locations to pick from at Opal Cove and time was of the essence =)

Amy and JJ I pray you guys have an awesome honeymoon and I look forward to catching up when I return =)

Feel free to leave a comment =) Yeeewwww!!!!

I gave the camera to JJ as I decided to change my point of view…. This was the result of his shot =) Nice work JJ… The things I do for a shot =)

This was the result of the tree climb =) I like!
