Its been a week of baby’s with another shoot this morning. Little Noah was so well behaved it was a lot of fun. Noah is only a few weeks old born on the 24th June 2011. I first met Karly, Noahs mum when I did a bit of barista work out at Vintage Espresso Cafe. So its been a while since I caught up with them last but today was great. Here are a few shots of the little man.

  • Selina and Paul - Once again Scott has excelled himself!!! It took a little while for Molly to settle for some of the pics and Scott couldn’t have been more accommodating. We couldn’t be happier with the photos as we were with our wedding photos. Thanks Scott you are an amazing photographer.ReplyCancel

  • Aunty Han - I love her! She is such a cool little spunk!!!! xxxxReplyCancel

Saturday saw the start of another busy season for SCP we have lots of bookings both wedding and portraiture. Saturday was the wedding of 2 very beautiful people Jodie and Matt. Matty and I go way back to the good old days of little athletics he was a few years younger than me but we always seemed to be hanging out at all the competitions. Then after our lives had gone their own ways he decides to meet a gorgeous young lady, fall in love and ask her for her hand in marriage. They needed an amazing wedding photographer but instead they got me =) a crazy wedding photographer that is passionate about what he does =) Matt and Jodie live at Lennox Head and so thats where we decided to have their photos at Lennox Point – A great surf spot with the locals and Saturdays swell proved it to be a busy little spot. It was such a blast, even the family photos got a bit out of hand thanks to Grandma =) Yeeeewwwww!!!

I also have to explain the shot of the guy with the Socks… This is Dad and he has worn a different colour pair of socks for each of the kids weddings… so Jodie and Matt got a bright blue pair =)

Matt and Jodie thank you for such a wonderful day =) I was so blessed being a part of it. Hope you love the picks and we will catch up in the near future =)

These last 2 shots were taken at 5:30pm with my Canon 5dMKII on ISO 6400 @f1.2 super dark but in the end a very rad set of shots.

Wow…. I was so excited to read through the results of the Australian Professional Photographers Awards (APPA) last night. I have entered this competition for the past 3 years and this year I finally won my first awards. but I didn’t just win one I was blessed enough to have won two silvers. These awards are judged by some of the countries best photographers and to be acknowledge for the work that you love to do is just so humbling. I really loved these 2 prints that I entered as they were judged in the photojournalistic category which means as a photographer you have captured your subjects without interference or instruction. Some of these moments can be the best photos you will ever take =)

This first image scored the highest of the 2 and was from a very funky wedding held out at Bowraville. So thank you to Sophie and Darby =)

This second image was an image taken from a beautiful wedding that was held at the Villa Vivante in Coffs Harbour and I thank Sarah and Dale for there amazing dance that help me to capture this special moment. I love all the people in the mirror looking on =)
