On Friday I began my little trip down to the wine capital of NSW, the Hunter Valley (Pokolbin) to catch up with the bride and groom for Saturdays wedding. Such a wonderful couple I met a little while back when I did their engagement shoot. That was a blast amongst the old train carriages in Dorrigo. The scenery was of slightly different nature and a few more logistics as well. You see on Saturday was the Hunter Valleys biggest day of the year with the Santana Concert held at the Hope Estate Winery and the Guy Sebastian/Lionel Ritchie concert at the Bimbadgen Estate Winery. We had to travel from the wonderful little chapel where Misha and John were married and end up at the Mecure which was right in the middle of the 2 concerts. In the end I had mapped a way around both, through some beautiful country side getting photos along the way. It was a lot of fun and something that I will remember for a while to come.

Thanks Misha & John for your amazing co-operation on the day and for being just a wonderful couple to be around.

I hope you all enjoy some of the pics and please feel free to leave a comment =)

On Saturday I headed out to the Promised Land at Gleniffer to photograph the wedding of a school friend that I have known since 1st class. Sonya & Chad are such a wonderful couple and I was so blessed that I had the honour of photographing their wedding. On the day I had the help of a work experience student from the Christian Community School, Bec. Thanks Bec for your great help, you are awesome =)

Well surprise surprise the weather on the North Coast of NSW was overcast and rainy… Doesn’t mean you cant have a awesome day and get some rad photos =) Jodie and Matt were married at the Presbyterian Church in Coffs Harbour and then had the family photos taken at the Botanic Gardens. We got to see a fair bit of rain throughout the day and at times we could escape the rain but in the end we just went with it and I think we saved the best till last. Mind you it was now super overcast and 6:55pm so I was pushing my camera to its limits to get the shots. The last few were taken at Boambee on Matts parents property…. Thanks John & Joy… Nice!

Jodie and Matt it was a real pleasure to hang out with you guys and I pray that God will bless your life and make your cup overflow with His goodness =)

Last Saturday I travelled to Woolgoolga on the North Coast of NSW to photograph the wedding of Erin and Doug. This place brings back so many memories as it was where I photographed my first ever wedding 11 years ago… Yes back in the days of good old film. Whats even more crazy is that one of the bridesmaid’s and groomsman were the couple that got married from that wedding =) =) Truly rad!!!

Well the day looked almost normal with the chance of a shower blowing in off the coast. We were blessed with the weather throughout the ceremony and then just before the family photos a little shower wandered across our way. After That we ha a great opportunity to get some great shots at our first location before a full on storm swept through us. Not to fear we packed up and moved on to our second location where we really got some amazing shots. Who cares about the rain!!!

Erin and Doug enjoy your honeymoon and I look forward to catching up when you return =)
