Last Saturday was the wedding of Elyse and Nathan. They married at Woolgoolga Headland on the North Coast of NSW. The weather was beautiful except for the gale force winds that decided to sweep across from the north east. That didn’t seem to matter as there was a much bigger occassion…. A beautiful wedding =) To accompany us on our photo journey we had 2 very rad VW kombi’s, matched in with a few great locations it all made for a lot of fun and some very precious photos.

Elyse and Nathan have an awesome time away on your honeymoon and I look forward to seeing you when you get back =)

Feel free to leave a comment, it makes it that much more special =)

On Saturday I travelled down the beautiful North Coast of NSW to South West Rocks to photograph the wedding of Erika and Michael. Michael is the brother of one of my previous clients Jo and Andrew. What looked like the start of a wet day soon turned to beautiful sunlit skies and very hot. The guys got ready at Michaels parents place while the girls enjoyed the luxury of the old Heritage Guesthouse. This made for some amazing pre-ceremony shots. The ceremony was held at little bay amongst the pandanus palms. Our time together on the photo shoot was spent at the headland and the Trial Bay Gaol. Such an awesome array of locations and very willing bridal party made for some great photos.

Erika and Michael enjoy your honeymoon and look forward to catching up again soon.

No these guys don’t need new dentists…. Hi Erika thought the boys would surprise you!!!!!

Ah, thats better =)

What an absolutely amazing wedding =) This will go down as one of my favourite weddings ever. Not to take anything away from all my other wonderful clients and friends, but Wow!!!! A wonderful older couple who both love Jesus with all their hearts, have had their fair share of ups and downs in life meet by divine appointment fall madly in love and decide to join their lives together under the convenant of God.

Charlee and Phil your love that you have for one another is certainly Godly and Holy in every sense of these words. It was an absolute blessing to be your photographer. I felt I got more out of being part of your special day than I ever expected. To photograph you guys, well it was like I was not even there. I felt like you were both so relaxed and you really helped me to capture some great memories for you both.

I Pray you love these photos and that you both enjoy your honeymoon and lives together… God bless =)

What a beautiful way to start off 2011 with this wedding.

It seemed like at the start of the week everything was going wrong for Donna and Andrew as they received word that some of their dear friends living in Brisbane had lost their businesses due to the flood and were not able to make it down. His brother in Yeppoon also was unable to make it and so it went on and on. Their guest list was dwindling away.

Yet when I met up with them again on Friday before the wedding the excitement had began to rise and the thought of what was going to take place was sinking in =) That Friday night I prayed that if there was some way his brother could get through that he would find it…. As I arrived to photograph the girls the next day elation had set in as Andrews brother had spoken with police and found a way to make a last minute 14 hour trip. I was moved, this was a massive effort and set the platform for a glorious day. The sun was beaming and I am sure a few guests would have been left a little sunburnt. The day was so fun and a real honour to be apart of.

Donna and Andrew thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. I hope you enjoy the pics =)
