It was a much anticipated wedding for me as I have previously photographed this wonderful couple a few years ago whilst they were only going out, not even engaged. So to follow the story through to the end is quite special. I was also very excited as we got to shoot this wedding at the little church of peace at Raleigh. So cute! Paul got ready with the boys at Pacific Bay Resort whilst the girls prepared at Kiani’s  parents place. It was such a wonderful day with great weather and great people.

Kiani and Paul thank you very much for letting me share in your special day. I pray you guys have a great marriage and that life is full of blessing for you both.

Wow what an unexpected amazing sunny day we had on Saturday to photograph the wedding of Rachel & Damien. It is beautiful to see 2 people united as husband and wife. Such a very special time.

Damien got ready at his parents house at Korora while Rachel and the girls got ready at a very close friends house that backed right onto the water at Sapphire Beach. Truly amazing. Thank you to the Watson’s. The ceremony was held at the St Augustine Church in Coffs Harbour, with the reception following at Bonville Golf Resort. It was a beautiful day with a bit of wind greeting us at our locations to photograph… ok a little more than a bit. All in all it was a great day and I so loved being a part of your special day.

Have a rad honeymoon guys and talk soon =)

  • Leonie - Beautiful wedding, gorgeous photos!ReplyCancel

Wow it is always pretty exciting to get a bride to want to trash the dress after or on her wedding day. Yesterday saw Zeina and Mark venture out to destroy her beloved wedding gown. We headed out to one of my favourite spots to get some great shots and use a bit more funking lighting than usual. We had half the day for the shoot so we made the most of it taking our time to get to the point of a complete wet dress. We had some much fun and I must say that Zeina and MArk you are such champions I know the water was freezing as I was in it with you. The things people do to get a photo =)

Anyway enjoy the pics and let me know what you think =)

  • Zeina Ali Moore - Oh my God!!!!! So worth every minute in that freezing water.

I must say when you tell someone you are doing a trash the dress session, people automatically assume that the photos you take would be classless. But when you look at how magical you can make it, why wouldn’t you do it! Yes your wedding dress is a precious possession that you will in all honesty never ever wear again. So why not make the most of it instead of leaving it to collect dust and be put away for no reason at all. Now i get to share these amazing photos with my family and friends.

Scott you honestly are the most amazing photographer. You are so much fun and have produced photos i expected after seeing my wedding photos. Bu you also went above and beyond. Thank you for putting your time into this, and getting your car all dirty again after the shoot.

Taking these photos makes me glad that my wedding day was wet and miserable. I got to capture two extremes. I am so privileged to have had you as my photographer.

I cant recommend you enough to people. Thank you for making my wedding all that it was.

It was one of the best locations to have a wedding on such a rainy sunday afternoon… Villa Vivante!!! What a location. The days weather didn’t seem to deter the bride or groom for this special day. Everything happened pretty much as planned, even going to the last location to get some shots of Zeina’s car…. Yes it rained there but not too much as we still got some great shots. You see it doesn’t matter whether its sunny or is bucketing down if people invest in professional photographers they get professional results. We love it when it rains it lets us get creative in the environment that we are given, even daring at times to push the boundaries in order to get that shot =)

Zeina and Mark it was an absolute pleasure to share in your special day! Look forward to editing the rest of the photographs soon. have a great honeymoon and… wait a minute I will see you on wednesday for our trash the dress sesh =) Its gonna be fun =) C Ya then!!!!

In the meantime feel free to check out these shots and leave a message if you want =)

I think this really hurt Mark =) I love the expression…

The cake looked amazing as always thanks to Kerry from Modern Cake Creations =)

  • Zeina Ali Moore - Scotty Scoty Scotty….what can i say!!!! You are a champ. We all loved you as a person and loved your work. You are truely passionate about the work you do and it shows in each and every photo. Thank you allowing us to go crazy and go out in the bad weather to capture all our personalities in the shots. We had a ball and there was not one person in the room who did not mention how great you were. The groomsmen didnt stop mucking around with you laughing and joking non stop. I hope you enjoyed it as well.

I cant wait to see my other car photos which i know will look totally wicked! And on Wednesday the skys the limit….no wait even that is not a factor! 🙂

By the end of the photo session we had i was totally drenched, but it was worth it. One day we made the most of and will continue to do each an everyday. Thank you for your inspiration.
