I have been looking forward to this wedding for a while as the locations was at Palmers Island, Yamba. The venue was Adams parents place nestled on the river bank you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. There was just one thing, the weather. I think all were praying for the perfect day. At the beginning it looked like it may have been a wet one but praise God for the weather that he gave us, it was prefect =)

Sarah and Adam had a vintage theme going on and to add to this they made there own decorations and even the smallest of detail was achieved by Sarah making a birds nest for the rings. It looked amazing. Everything about this wedding was so unique. Well done guys. I pray you have the best honeymoon and I cant wait to catch up with you both very soon.

There was no way that the guests would get lost with all the signs…

I love these shoes…

The flower girls shoes were ever so cute…

I have never seen anything like these flowers before they were exquisite.

I don’t know what you call these things you put on your shoulders to keep warm but Sarah brought the wool online from a an old vintage jumper and then got a lady to make it for her wedding….. I am speechless. What a story!

The nest that took I don;t know how many hours to make…. Sarah you are amazing!

Told you the venue was perfect!

Sarah and Adams friends played a song for them… It was beautiful.

Detail detail detail…..

I love the hedge

Mr Ska8er Boy

WOW!!!

  • Sarah - Scott! Scott! Scott! They are AMAZING! Just amazing!… And as everyone else here has mentioned not only did you capture us, but also the diversity of the location too.

You were excellent on the day. We knew it, but everyone kept telling us too. Everyone! You were skillfully invisible at times, close and reassuring at other moments, then took control with warmth and good humour when you needed to.

Not only that, it seems you have made some new friends too; many of our friends are apparently coming to drink coffee with you when they’re next in town πŸ˜‰

We were talking after, saying you were the single person we spent most time with on our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier about it. You helped to make our day super-fun! Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!

Can’t wait to see the rest! πŸ˜€ReplyCancel

If you are ever wondering whether we do family portraits the answer is yes! We love them, even when we need to do them in gail force winds. Thats right today I had the pleasure of shooting one of my best mates family. They are expecting number 2 and it could come any time soon, so we needed to shoot it today. Our end results were amazing…. well I thought they were anyway.

If you like them too then be sure to let me know by posting a comment below. Thanks Matt and Bec, see you in church on Sunday!!!

It will go down in my history books as the longest booking ever. 2 and 1/2 years ago I got the confirmation that we would be the photographers for Kim and Marc’s wedding. They then headed overseas for 18 months to enjoy some traveling…. Lucky little things =)

But the only thing we had to worry about was the wind. The location for the ceremony was on the beach in front of Annuka Beach Resort. Such a beautiful setting. Kim looked amazing and Marc well I wouldn’t say stunning but definitely sharp =) It was a really great time shooting after the ceremony as we stayed on location at Annuka and then headed in for the reception that was held at the Breakers room.

Kim & Marc enjoy your honeymoon and we will see you in the future.

I love this bouquet…

This shot has so much detail, it was great to be able capture the details of this wedding.

  • Kim & Marc - Hi Scott – Marc and I have just returned home and our first priority was to have a look at your blog like you suggested and we have to tell you we absolutely love the photos and are so impressed with the way they have turned out; we can’t wait to see the rest of them! What a beautiful day friday was for a wedding. We managed to get a perfectly clear day with no dust =) Renee & Greg picked a great location for a wedding, held at 2pm on Sawtell beach there was not a cloud in sight. Renee arrived in her fathers SS Commodore Ute which look hot, but not as hot as the bride when she got out. Renee was full of laughs and made shooting this wedding an absolute blast.

We decided to stay at Sawtell for a few photos when the ceremony was finished before heading out to a couple of locations near by. Β  You can have a look and let us know what you think by posting a comment at the end.

Renee & Greg have a great honeymoon look forward to showing you the rest of the photos when you get back =)

Renee’s hair was done by the girls at The Edge at Toormina. It hung in there all day and looked great.

The Bouquet was beautifully made by one of the best in the business Flowers on first.

I love the shoe attire they chose =)

Back in February I photographed the wedding of Kellie and Peter. For some of you, you may remember that its was valentines day and probably the wettest day ever for a wedding. We got some amazing shots but it was not quite the beach that they were after. So on Saturday we headed down to Macauleys Beach for a family shoot. Hope you like the pics =)
